What is a Cassie Kit?

A Cassie Kit is a quart-sized zip-lock bag that contains items that a homeless person might appreciate.  Besides snacks and water, it also contains several non-food items such as tissues, wet wipes, and bandages.  A full list of items is found below.

 A Cassie Kit is designed to be more than a simple gift.  It is also designed to help start a conversation.  Too many of us take for granted the comfortable homes and modern conveniences that we enjoy.  As we take time to truly understand the difficulties that so many face, our eyes will be opened to ways that we can make the world a better place for all.
